Vegeterian Tips: When Vegetarian Being a vegetarian is not always easy, especially when dining out at restaurants with your carnivorous friends. Since you can t always eat at vegetarian or vegan restaurants, here are some tips to read, meant to make your dining out experiences that much better.

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

  • 3 “eggs” (I use Ener-G Egg Replacer – 4 1/2 teaspoon to 6 tablespoons water)
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup soymilk
  • 1 tablespoon vegan sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • non-hydrogenated, vegan margarine

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a blender. I
usually blend the wet ingredients first
and then add the rest. Heat a frying
pan to medium to medium-high heat.
Spray pan with non-stick spray. Pour
about 1/3 cup of mixture onto pan and
swirl around until it is spread out o
the pan (like a crepe). Heat until
golden brown and then flip and heat
other side until golden brown. Cover
pancake with margarine, cinnamon and vegan sugar
and then roll up and enjoy!
