<p><b>Vegeterian Tips: </b>While everyone else that you are with is chomping down on huge T Bone steaks and French fries, you can turn a side salad and baked potato into your meal, if nothing else is available.</p>
<p>   Ingredients (use vegan versions):</p>
<ul> 
<li> 1 large red onion &#8211; thinly sliced<br /> 
<li> 2 small zucchini &#8211; sliced about 1/4 inch thick<br /> 
<li> 2 small yellow summer squash &#8211; sliced about 1/4 inch thick<br /> 
<li> 1 or 2 large ripe tomato &#8211; cut into chunks<br /> 
<li> Big handful of fresh bazil &#8212; chopped   </ul>
<p>Directions:
<p>   &#8220;Saute&#8221; red onion in a pan that has been lightly sprayed with Pam and<br />   wiped and to which a tablespoon or two of water has been added, until<br />   soft. Add squash and saute for about five minutes, turning every so<br />   often.  Add tomato and basil &#8212; cover and cook for another five<br />   minutes, or so, until everything has blended nicely together.<br /> 
<p>   I&#8221;ve been making this dish for years . . . it&#8221;s easy and yummy<br />   . . . good hot or cold. I try to make it with both yellow squash and<br />   zucchini &#8212; but I generally use whatever I have on hand. This makes<br />   generous servings for two &#8212; served over rice as a main meal. Or, I<br />   use it as an side dish for dinner and for lunch the next day.<br />

<p><b>Vegeterian Tips: </b>When Vegetarian Being a vegetarian is not always easy, especially when dining out at restaurants with your carnivorous friends. Since you can t always eat at vegetarian or vegan restaurants, here are some tips to read, meant to make your dining out experiences that much better.</p>
<p>   Here is a new way to use all the leftover tomatoes in the garden.  Get<br />   them before the frost!!
<p>   Ingredients (use vegan versions):</p>
<ul> 
<li> 1 gallon of washed, sliced tomatoes<br /> 
<li> 10 (red)onions, slices thin (some people may like more or less)<br /> 
<li> at least one clove of garlic, finely chopped<br /> 
<li> some spices like:<br />   Ingredients (use vegan versions):</p>
<ul> 
<li> 1 teaspoon whole cloves<br /> 
<li> 1 teaspoon dried bazil<br /> 
<li> 1 teaspoon vegan mustard seed<br /> 
<li> stick of cinnamo<br />

<p><b>Vegeterian Tips: </b>When people think of Japanese food, they think of sushi, however sushi doesn t always have to be raw fish. Cucumber rolls are available on many menus, and if there is a sushi bar available, you can ask to try different types of vegetarian rolls, such as cucumber, cream cheese, and avocado, or perhaps vegetarian tempura rolls.</p>
<p>  Ingredients (use vegan versions):</p>
<ul> 
<li> 2 butter squash (peeled and cooked)<br /> 
<li> 5-6 sweet potatoes (peeled and cooked)<br /> 
<li>  vegan sugar to taste<br /> 
<li> 1/4 stick of low fat non-hydrogenated vegan margarine<br /> 
<li> cinnamon and nutmeg to taste<br /> 
<li> 1 large bag of vegetarian marshmallows<br /> 
<li> 2-4 pie shells (optional)  </ul>
<p>Directions:
<p>  Serves 10 or more.<br /> 
<p>  Drain squash and potatoes and place in a large mixing bowl.  Add the<br />  other ingredients.  If using as pies have 2-4 pie shells premade, pou<br />  ingredients into pie shells and bake at 375F until crust is brown.<br />  ..or just eat as is. Both ways are very good.<br />

<p><b>Vegeterian Tips: </b>Water water water! It s been said over and over again for a reason because its true! Most people don t drink nearly enough. Bring a water bottle with you wherever you go and invest in a simple filter for your home. Water is especially important when adjusting to a new way of eating, as it will help curb any cravings you may experience.</p>
<p>  Ingredients (use vegan versions):</p>
<ul> 
<li> 6 beets (medium size)<br /> 
<li> 5 carrots<br /> 
<li> 15 pole beans<br /> 
<li> 2 bunches of spinach<br /> 
<li> 2 bunches of broccoli<br /> 
<li> 1 small cabbage<br /> 
<li> 4 tomatoes<br /> 
<li> 2 cups of protein powder<br /> 
<li> 4 big onions<br /> 
<li> 2 spoons of turmeric powder<br /> 
<li> 12 cloves<br /> 
<li> 6 spoons of dried chilli powder<br /> 
<li> 2 medium sized pieces of ginger<br /> 
<li> 10 petals of garlic<br /> 
<li> 1 spoons fulls of curry spices like vegan mustard seeds etc<br /> 
<li> 3 cups of oil (roughly)<br /> 
<li> curry quantity: about 9 litres  </ul>
<p>Directions:
<p>  Suggestion: For the first time take a quarter size of all proportions<br />  and adjust later as per your preferences Remember this recipe was made<br />  to max all good vegetables with protein in one source which can be<br />  stored and served daily. You can eat it every day and will never stop<br />  it because it has all good things for great health.consult any body<br />  who has curries making experience to guide you for the first time<br />  because the concept is based on curries for great taste.<br /> 
<p>  Cut small pieces of all vegetables. Take small portions of all the<br />  vegetables and add to the boiling water container in the order boiling<br />  time.for example add beets,crrots,beans together first and boil them<br />  together for some time before adding spinach, cabbage, broccoli<br />  (stems+flower peices). We are making sure no vegetable is over cooked<br />  or under cooked by this. More over minimum water is maintained in the<br />  container just enough for slow steam cooking. after all the pieces<br />  mentioned are well cookeda(just soft enough),add some salt and a<br />  little turmeric powder. Now slow down heat for a while.Mean while<br />  prepare protein powder milk (by mixing protein powder in hot water)<br />  and boil the thick milk for 4 minutes to remove the smell from the<br />  milk.Now add the protein powder milk to the boiling vegetables and<br />  stir thoroughly. After proper mixing keep it on low heat. In a<br />  separate container heat corn oil to a high temperature(slight vapors<br />  to be observed). Stop heating .add curry spices like mustard seeds<br />  etc. (as per your own preference of curry spices). Before curry spices<br />  are browned add green chilli pieces,finely cut ginger and garlic. Be<br />  careful while adding this because the oil is hot and frothing ca<br />  occur. So oil pan should be out of the stove to avoid frothing oil<br />  falling on to the heater. After this add onion pieces and start<br />  heating oil again till the onion pieces are slightly browned. Now add<br />  this oil (with onions,ginger,garlicand spices) to the slow boiling veg<br />  mixture (having very little water content),and stir it<br />  thoroughly. Increase the heat and mix it for 7 minutes. Now add tomato<br />  pieces to this and stir it. Now dried chilli powder is added to this<br />  and salt is also added to suit your taste. stir for 10 minutes<br />  thoroughly and add increments of salt and chilli powder as per<br />  taste. Now break cloves in to small pieces add to the curry stir it<br />  and stop heating soon.close the lid for 30 minutes for flavor of<br />  cloves to get in to curry. For best taste eat this curry with rice<br />  mixed thoroughly. What you eat is a complete food in one form. The<br />  taste is great and it is richer in protein(better than any meat). I<br />  made this curry 5 times so far and taste was improved each time<br />  varying proportions of components.<br />

<p>  Ingredients (use vegan versions):</p>

<li> 1 can great northern beans<br /> 
<li> 1 bunch fresh spinach<br /> 
<li> 1 tablespoon olive oil<br /> 
<li> minced garlic (you choose amount)  </ul>
<p>Directions:
<p>  Serves 4.<br /> 
<p>  Heat oil in a non-stick skillet til warm. Add as much garlic as you<br />  and your loved ones can stand. Saute. Add one can of drained and rinsed<br />  great northern beans. Heat thoroughly. Meanwhile, rinse and trim your<br />  spinach and boil til done. Add boiled spinach to beans. Stir together<br />  and heat for a few more minutes. Serve. That&#8221;s it! Quick. Easy. Yummy.<br />  What more could a busy vegetarian ask for?!<br />

<p><b>Vegeterian Tips: </b>Reduce your refined sugar intake. I ve got as much of a sweet tooth as anybody, but I try to keep it under control by using such sugar replacers as maple syrup, stevia and agave whenever possible such as in coffee and tea and indulging in the refined stuff only occasionally.</p>
<p>   Ingredients (use vegan versions):</p>
<ul> 
<li> 8-12 small new potatoes<br /> 
<li> 2 or 3 sprigs fresh rosemary (20-40 leaves in all)<br /> 
<li> 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil            </ul>
<p>Directions:
<p>   This is my wife&#8221;s rosemary potato recipe.  She doesn&#8221;t measure the<br />   ingredients, so quantities are approximate (and aren&#8221;t important<br />   anyway).<br /> 
<p>   The potatoes become crusty on the outside and creamy on the inside,<br />   and perfused with a lovely rosemary and olive oil flavour.<br /> 
<p>   Scrub, but do not peel the potatoes.  Halve or quarter lengthwise. If<br />   only larger potatoes are available, cut into wedges.  The pieces<br />   should be 1 to 1 1/4 inch thick at the thickest part.  You want them<br />   to be uniform so the pieces cook evenly.<br /> 
<p>   Heat the oil over moderate heat in a large frying pan.  Place the<br />   potatoes, cut side down in the pan, cover, and cook on moderately low<br />   heat for 25-35 minutes.  As each side becomes browned, turn the<br />   potatoes so all sides become brown and crusty.  After half the cooking<br />   time, add the rosemary.  Potatoes are done when all sides are browned<br />   and the insides are soft.  Serve immediately.  The rosemary may<br />   optionally be served as well.<br />

<p><b>Vegeterian Tips: </b>Read the sandwich descriptions on your menu. Most would be quite tasty and still filling without the meat. Just make sure to tell your server that you want to hold the chicken or roast beef, and to double up on the veggies and cheese.</p>
<p>  Ingredients (use vegan versions):</p>
<ul> 
<li> 5-8 good-sized potatoes<br /> 
<li> 4-5 tablespoons of vegetable or olive oil<br /> 
<li> White or black ground pepper to seaso<br /> 
<li> 2 teaspoons of chopped garlic (use garlic in soy oil if available) <br /> 
<li> Add various dry and ground herbs to season.  </ul>
<p>Directions:
<p>  Serves: 2-4.<br /> 
<p>  Preparation time: 30 minutes.<br /> 
<p>  Slice potatoes into pinkie finger-sized slices.<br />  Preheat oven to 450 degrees.<br /> 
<p>  Then add olive or vegetable oil to coat potato slices.<br />  Add dried herbs, chopped garlic, and pepper to taste and mix well.<br /> 
<p>  Mix until all potato slices are uniformly coated with ingredients.<br />  Arrange slices on two baking pans.<br /> 
<p>  Bake for 20-30 minutes to suit eating style.  Turn slices every five<br />  minutes until done to taste preference. This is important for best<br />  tasting potatoes.  After 15-20 minutes of baking and turning slices,<br />  reduce heat to 350 degrees. Take out potaoes and place in large bowl<br />  for a feast.<br /> 
<p>  Prepare mixture of catsup and tabasco sauce or any other concoctio<br />  you may like to dip the potato slices in! Bon Appetito!  <br />

<p><b>Vegeterian Tips: </b>Pizza and pasta are a great way to go for vegetarians, but just be careful of all those carbs and eat them in moderation. If you don t eat dairy, ask for a slice of pizza with sauce topped with tons of veggies and see how great it tastes, and how good it is for you.</p>
<p>  Ingredients (use vegan versions):</p>

<li> onion powder  </ul>
<p>Directions:
<p>  Serves: variable.<br /> 
<p>  Preparation time: 10 to 20 mins.<br /> 
<p>  Peel and cut potatoes into finger size pieces. Liberally toss them i<br />  onion powder (lots). Bake in a hot (425) oven on a cookie sheet. Time<br />  varies from 10 to 20 minutes depending on potato moisture and cut<br />  size. When they start to brown, they&#8221;re done. Enjoy!<br />

<p><b>Vegeterian Tips: </b>Order different side orders such as various vegetables, beans, rice or potatoes. Meatless appetizers can also be served as a part of your dinner. Just make sure to let your server know that all of those dishes will be acting as your main course and to have him or her bring out one big plate for you to eat off of. You may just have the best meal on the table, but it s up to you to allow those meat eaters eat off your plate, since you can t eat off theirs!</p>
<p>  Ingredients (use vegan versions):</p>
<ul> 
<li> 2 cups of herb roasted potatos. (To make herb-roasted potatos, boil about six whole red or white potatos, then  let them cool in a pan of cold water. Dice the potatos and spread them  on a oiled cookie-sheet. Top them with lot&#8221;s of herbs and spices. (Whatever  you happen to have around will do! I like to use paprika, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder,
<li> A mix of whatever veggies that you like. I use the following:</p>
<p>  Ingredients (use vegan versions):</p>
<ul> 
<li> Spinach leaves<br /> 
<li> Red bell-pepper sticks<br /> 
<li> Thin carrot slices or triangles<br /> 
<li> Artichoke hearts<br /> 
<li> Thin sliced green onion<br /> 
<li> Zucchini or yellow summer squash wheels<br /> 
<li> Fresh raw sweet corn kernels<br /> 
<li> Roma tomato slices  </ul>

<p>  Lay out the spinach on a plate, top with the other veggies (except the<br />  green onions.)  Top the veggies with the herb roasted potatos, then<br />  top it all with the green onion.  (At this point, I like to warm up<br />  the whole thing in a microwave for about 2 minutes.)<br /> 
<p>  Then, top the whole yummy mess with either:<br />

<li> Salsa<br />
